This is the road that Eden travelled along when it set up it's project
in Niger in 1986. At that time, the high-lighted stretches required
off-road driving. When revisiting ten years later, the only off-road stretch
left was the road between Tamanrasset and Arlit, which has never been paved.
The other roads had been restored.
